Champagne Christmas

Hello hello, Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you had a lovely day yesterday. I spent it with my family in Brooklyn. It was a great day, but I was really missing my sister while she’s still in London. Now I’m ready to get into the Christmas spirit, and count down the days until she’s home!

I’m dropping in to share the CUTEST holiday collection from Kate Spade featuring my favorite, champagne! The collection also includes many glittery favorites, and some NY inspired pieces as well.

Check out my favorites below, and happy shopping!

SoHo Nights

I cannot believe its Christmas Eve already! This holiday season has really flown by. Luckily my sister has been home for a week, so its been great spending some time with her! She came to meet me after work on Monday and we had a little sister date in SoHo. Its so nice that so many stores are a quick walk away from my office.

We first went to the Birchbox store. I have been wanting to go, so we were very excited to check it out! We each made a sample box. They were $15 each and we were able to choose a product from body/nails, hair, fragrance, makeup, and skin. I treated my sister to her box as an early Christmas gift 😉

We were then getting hungry so we headed to Boqueria, a tapas restaurant. If you remember, I went there once back in September with my friend Maddy, and it was just as great this time around!

After dinner we stopped at Laduree for some macarons to go, since we were still a little full from dinner. After hitting some stores on Broadway, we were ready to call it a night, and caught a bus home.

This trip was the perfect way to get me in the Christmas mood, and it was great spending some time with my (not-so) baby sister! We are hosting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so its going to be a little crazy here!

Wishing you all the Merriest of Christmases!

73 Spring Shop

photo 1

On Wednesday I had the pleasure of visiting 73 Spring Shop with my friend Marie of The Preppy MAG. For those of you unaware, 73 Spring Shop is a pop-up shop of some of the best online stores. Designers include Design Darling, Inslee By Design, Loren Hope, Persifor, Society Social, & Three Jane. The store was right in SoHo so just a quick walk from the office. Although it was snowing, Marie and I made it our mission to visit this week!

I wanted to scoop up so many things in that store. There were darling earrings, beautiful paintings, cute desk accessories and even living room furnishings. I left with a cute little koozy that read “Let’s Dance. Xoxo Tipsy”. I thought it was so me!

It was also great to meet so many of these talented ladies that I read about online. Finally adding a face to their brands! I was able to chat with Roxy of Society Social and Katie of Three Jane. They were such sweethearts!

Today is the last day 73 Spring Shop will be open! Head in from 10 am to 6 pm. Unfortunately after that they will be closed, but luckily you can check out all of their online stores! Hopefully they’ll pop up again soon 😉

I’m so glad we were able to stop by!

Beanie Baby

Ever just wake up, and know that whatever you chose to wear, it hadddd to be warm and comfy? That’s how I felt on Sunday. I just got this long sleeve tee and hat in the mail from a Cyber Monday purchase, so I had to try them on. They were perfect for a cold and busy day of Christmas shopping with mama! Outfits like this will be on rotation this week; it’s been so darn cold! But this hat is definitely keeping me nice and warm 😉

‘Tis the Season

Happy Black Friday! Hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgivings! Mine was a great day, spent with my family and cousins in Brooklyn. I decided to stay comfy yesterday, in a light sweater and leggings — a great choice for eating lots and lots of good food!

 What I’m wearing::

Charlotte Russe sweater  || Forever 21 Leggings || Target boots (old, similar) || Old Navy Scarf (same style, different pattern) || Old Navy Vest (not many are left)

I’m so happy I have today off. I plan on writing blog posts, doing some online shopping, decorating the house, and watching cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies. Oh, and I definitely want to squeeze a run in there somewhere to burn off some of that pie and stuffing from yesterday.

I love getting gifts for my friends and family. All year long, whenever I am out and see something a friend would love I can’t help but want to buy it. That’s why I especially love the Christmas season. I’ve already made some purchases last night and started filling online shopping bags this morning. I’m hoping I won’t have to head to the mall much and get to spend all my time with family and friends. ‘Tis the season!

What are you looking forward to this holiday season? Any shopping tips for me?

Please Purchase

How is it Thursday already? I feel like the week flies by sometimes. Not only is tomorrow Friday, but today marks one week until my sister comes home for a break! I cannot WAIT to see her.

So back to today’s post. Sometimes I feel like I just have a running list in my phone of things I want to buy. I’ve put together a few things that I currently cannot wait to purchase. Most of the time I have to wait until I can actually shop in person, because I am always too nervous to shop online. Here is a list of my “Note to Self: Please Purchase” list. Enjoy!

AE tee || 23 is my lucky number, and besides sporting a Michael Jordan jersey (which I actually won when I was little) it would be fun to wear my lucky number another way.

Blog weekly planner notepad || All of my favorite bloggers have been posting pictures with their new Heart and Arrow Design blogger notebooks! I may wait to ask for this little beauty for Christmas, but it is still on the list right now. (And yes, I have started my Christmas list).

Jcrew tech gloves || I really want to pick up a cute/ trendy/ practical pair of gloves for winters in Manhattan, and I think these fit the bill.

Kate Spade phone case || Right now I am constantly switching between my Mophie charging case, a plain blue case, and my pineapple case. I want a case that can carry me from fall into winter. This case is so cute yet so simple, and can easily make that transition.

What do you think? Anything you’re loving right now that I missed? Let me know in the comments below!
