London throwback — V & A Museum

Even a little rain couldn’t ruin this picture perfect view at the Victoria and Albert Museum! This was one of our first stops after we landed in London back in October. After a long flight, we refreshed at the hotel, and then pulled ourselves together for our first sight seeing stop in London!

I knew I wanted to be comfortable (leggings FTW) but thought a crisp white button down and army green vest would create some balance. It was a little chilly this day, so I threw on my cargo jacket, a scarf and gloves to keep me warm.

I’m working on a full recommendations list from our trip to London, that I’m hoping to share next week. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see in the comments below!

What I’m Wearing:

Old Navy Vest (old but similar — some sizes + colors still left!) || Old Navy Oxford shirt || Old Navy Leggings (old, similar)  || Champion  Sneakers

Hope  you’re all having a great week!

While in London, we had the best weather! There was no sight of rain, which we were so worried about. On the third day of our trip, we started our morning by having breakfast in our hotel and then heading to visit the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The houses in the area were so cute, I had to take advantage of the great scenery. My vest was a staple throughout my whole trip, as it helped give me an extra layer under my jacket, or stand alone when the sun was shining. Somehow it matched with almost everything I brought with me on this trip! I can’t wait to continue pairing it with outfits for the rest of this season.

Hello, it’s me.

Can you tell I’ve been listening to the new Adele song? Thought it was fitting for my return after a little vacation hiatus. Earlier this month I went to London to visit my sister while she’s studying abroad! It was the most AMAZING trip and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

First up, wanted to share my highlights from our quick 4 night stay across the pond. I absolutely loved London and I definitely recommend a visit to anyone interested.

Check out my favorite moments below:

My first international flight! I was crazy nervous but did so well. 🙂

Had to take a picture in a red telephone booth

I’m not the biggest Harry Potter fan but come on, how fun!

The first day we visited the Victoria and Albert Museum. I loved this outside area!

Here’s the Tower Bridge! All I could think about while I was there was the Spice World movie scene where their tour bus jumps the bridge!

The best part was definitely reuniting with my baby sis. I’m so happy she’s having this amazing experience but I can’t wait until she’s back in NY!

Hope you enjoyed this quick preview! I can’t wait to continue sharing what we did, but favorite spots, and some outfit posts.
