Do you watch Pretty Little Liars? Every season I say I’m not going to watch, but here I am 5 years later, still watching. It’s crazy to think it started the summer before I went to college! Time flies when you’re trying to figure out who A is 😉

But more on this coat… I got it for a Christmas gift two years ago, and at first I was I wasn’t sold but now its one of my FAVS! Its super warm and pairs great with black jeans + accessories. And these sunnies! My sister brought them back from London and I couldn’t wait to break them out.

Got a secret, can you keep it? Sorry, I just had too! I can’t help but feel like I’m in an episode of Pretty Little Liars every time I wear this Michael Kors coat. I got it for Christmas last year but really started wearing it this winter. It does a great job of keeping me warm, and the color definitely allows me to stand out. Of course I had to wear my favorite Old Navy beanie (it’s on sale right now!!) and my super-warm J.Crew Factory scarf.

My sister attends school in upstate New York and they still have some snow on the ground! We took her back to school yesterday, so I thought her campus would be a great background for some shots. Special thanks to momma for taking these pictures, even though we were both FREEZING.

It was so nice to have an extra day off from work this weekend. Can’t every week be a four-day work week!? I know I would be up for that! This week hopefully won’t be as busy as last, and filled with lots of fun!

Lazy Days

Saturdays and Sundays are my favorite. I don’t have to wake up early and rush to get ready and out to catch my bus. I usually wake up around 9 and lounge in bed for a bit, until I get too hungry and make my way downstairs for breakfast.

When I am set to lounge around and blog, I put on my comfiest sweats and pick a spot in my house where I can lay down and write. I just got these fleece pants for Christmas from Old Navy and they are one of comfiest pair of pants I own. I paired them with a plain tee since I would just be in the house.

Of course, my blogging hours wouldn’t be nearly as successful without my Heart and Arrow Planner. I also got this for Christmas, and I’ve been using it since! It really helps me plan out my posts for the week, especially because I try to get so much done during the weekends.

Last week was a super busy week at work, so it was really nice to relax this weekend. My TV shows are finally starting to come back and I’m so excited! Yesterday I watched the first two new episodes of Pretty Little Liars. Does anyone else watch it? I can’t believe it’s been on for four and a half years! With every episode I watch, I always say I’m going to stop watching because I get too scared. But here I am, 5 seasons later, still following along!

How do you like to spend your weekends?

Legen.. wait for it….

Dary. Legendary.

Yup, you’ve guessed it, How I Met Your Mother. I went to McGee’s Pub near Central Park last night with two of my friends from work, Lexi and Marie. It was the bar that inspired the writers of HIMYM while they were creating the infamous MacLaren’s. I promised myself I’d go there as soon as I finished watching the show, so last night was perfect! The booths on the first floor definitely reminded me of the group’s usual spot, and it was cool to see photos and memorabilia of the cast hung on the walls around the restaurant. There were even HIMYM themed cocktails!

If you’re a fan of the show, you should definitely check it out!

NYC on TV

Hello, hello. Happy Tuesday! I was hoping today I would be telling you all about the new fitness classes I was trying as part of my 2015 goals, but sometimes you get sick and can’t work out for a couple of days 😦 Guess you’ve gotta roll with the punches!

However,  since I’ve been lounging so much, I’ve watched alotttt of TV. Many of you know that I’ve been watching How I Met Your Mother and finished the series on New Years Day. It was one of the BEST shows, and now I know why so many people have been telling me to watch it for years. I think one of the reasons I like it so much is because it takes place in New York City. Which leads me to the show I am currently watching: The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Sex and the City. While it’s set in the 80’s and Carrie is only in high school, its still fun to live vicariously through her fun NYC life. I’ve just started season 2, and I’m loving it!

Do you have any shows you recommend on Netflix?

Hello, Hello

Hello! Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA for almost two weeks! It really has been crazy. Let me recap on what I’ve been up to:

  • I’ve started watching How I Met Your Mother during my commute. It is SUCH A GOOD SHOW!! I don’t know how its taken me so long to watch it. This is the time when I would normal write blog posts, so I think I’m going to have to find a new time for that.
  • Last weekend I went back to Villanova again, this time to volunteer at the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Fall Festival, hosted on campus every year. I was a part of the student-run committee during my time at school, and I couldn’t miss it. It was so nice to see so many of my friends that I didn’t get to see during homecoming, and watch so much competition!
  • I’ve also been enjoying some happy hours with coworkers and friends during the week! I’ve been to a few places in Tribeca and the NYU area, all which have been super fun!

With the holidays coming up, I will try my best to keep up with my blog. Hopefully I’ll be able to fill you in on some fun events during the holiday season!

Do you have any fun plans coming up?

Nicole

Chop Chop

So remember on Friday when I mentioned I was having a change this weekend? Well, I cut my hair!! I’ve been wanting to cut it for a while, but had to wait a long time for my appointment. I am SO HAPPY with the way it came out! I had to share some pictures with you all 🙂

I had a very relaxing weekend, mostly spent by catching up on TV shows. It’s much needed after a busy week! I also started some new shows: Selfie, Manhattan in Love, & A to Z. Two of them take place in Manhattan, which are my favorite! They’re definitely great when I want to watch something while unwinding and browsing on my laptop.
