Summertime to me means beach and boardwalks. While I haven’t gotten to enjoy that too much this summer, my family and I got to have dinner by the boardwalk during our mini “vacation” weekend earlier this month. We went to South Fin Restaurant by the Verrazano Bridge, and somehow we had never been! It was so nice to enjoy a summer night by the water with my family. While it wasn’t the exact beach vacation we had pictured (we had to cancel our Ocean City, Maryland due to the weather), I can’t imagine a better night with them.
I bought this dress two summers ago and never had the chance to wear it. It was very light and moved in the ocean’s breeze, which was fun for these pictures. I also got to use my favorite Kate Spade purse since I wasn’t bringing a lot with me, a rare occurrence.
What I’m Wearing:
Forever 21 dress (old, loved this one)|| Target Sam & Libby Sandals (old, similar) || Kate Spade crossbody (similar)
Nights like this make me never want summer to end!
I’ve mention countless times how much of a brunch fan I am. Well, I think I’ve found another favorite: Sarabeth’s TriBeCa. My sister came to visit me in my apartment earlier this month, and a friend suggested we go here for Saturday brunch. The restaurant was adorable and the service was super speedy– we ordered and our meals come out in less than 10 minutes! We were both especially starving since we did a Soul Cycle class right before, so that’s my kind of restaurant. There are other locations throughout the city, so I’ll definitely have to check it out!
Do you have any favorite brunch locations in the city? Please leave them in the comments below, I would love to try them out!
I’ve always wanted to try the white jean trend and I finally picked up a pair earlier this summer! Old Navy, of course. They go with so many different tops, I even wore them last week with a bright pink tunic- they’re just super versatile. I wore this outfit when my family went to Peddler’s Village for the weekend. I also picked up this new Coach bag while I was there so I had to show it off! I haven’t stopped using it since I purchased it. 🙂
What I’m Wearing:
Neon top || Old Navy white jeans + similar || Gap Factory sandals || Coach small Kelsey satchel
Have you tried the white jean trend? How do you style them?
Hello hello! Okay, I know I did it again, I went MIA. But I was busy busy with good reason!
At the end of July I celebrated my 23rd birthday. My friends, family and coworkers really made it a special day and I can’t thank them enough! Some highlights include Drybar, drinks with coworkers and friends at TriBeCa Tavern, dinner with my family at El Vez and Soul Cycle + Brunch at Agave with my best friend!
I had to recover from that fun-filled weekend pretty quickly, because the following weekend I moved into the city! Yes, I finally made the big move. I’m still adjusting to life on my own, but I’m absolutely loving it so far! 😀
Quickly after I moved in I had a few days off from work planned with my family, so we went to the beach one day, spent a day by the pool, and took a quick trip to Peddlers Village in Pennsylvania. It was so nice to spend the long weekend with them.
Also, today mark’s one year since I’ve been at my company! I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to be working at my dream job and living in this amazing city.
