Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to start posting regularly on one day of the week, so for now I’ll begin with Friday!
Here are some of the things I’m loving this week:
1. Why couldn’t Channing Tatum go to my college? 22 Jump Street comes out June 13th!
2. Speaking of sequels… Pitch Perfect 2 is in the works, so why not learn some facts about the original movie.
3. No mas tequila. I want this bag!
4. … and I thought my Chai Tea Latte was expensive!
Hope you have a fabulous weekend! I have a graduation party every day of this weekend, so I may be a little MIA from the blog. I’m so excited to see some school friends and friends from home!
Can I go back to college just so I get can a new Lilly agenda!? I love shopping for school supplies, and that’ll be something I will truly miss about my college years. Lilly Pulitzer makes the best agendas, with tons of room for writing homework, homework assignments, and important dates.
If I were to choose, I think I would get the Trippin and Sippin pattern. Who knows, maybe I’ll cave and by myself a small one for my professional life!
Trippin and Sippin
Which pattern is your favorite?
Happy Memorial Day everyone! It’s the unofficial start to summer, but we can’t forget the reason we get the day off. We have to remember to thank those who have served and are still serving our country. I celebrated this weekend by taking a trip down to Wildwood Crest, NJ to my roommate’s house, to celebrate her birthday! The weekend was filled with sun, drinks, fun, and relaxation. We drove down Saturday and relaxed by the pool during the day. We had a low key night since we’d be getting up early Sunday morning to take her family’s boat to Ocean City, Maryland. I got a little burnt but it was so much fun!
Here are some pictures from the weekend:
Relaxing on the boat.
Singing our little hearts out.
Roommates for life!
Now I’m back home and relaxing with my family. Hope you all are having a great weekend!
Remember “Freshman 15”? Well after senior week and graduation festivities I definitely gained the “Senior Week 7”. With bathing suit season quickly approaching, it is time for me to get myself back to the gym. After Memorial Day I will definitely be looking into a new gym membership since I am now back home.
I’ve put together some if my top gym necessities for a great workout:
Sneakers– I’ve always been a Nike fan. I currently own Nike Frees that I bought last summer and absolutely love them! I will probably be picking up a new pair soon since I wear mine so often.
CamelBak– When I first went away to college, I always saw people carrying around these water bottles and always wanted one. I finally caved this past fall and purchased my own! I drink so much more water when I used a CamelBak, and always find myself refilling it. It is also so easy to drink out of while on the treadmill or elliptical, which is an added bonus.
Polar watch– I received my polar watch as a Christmas gift and use it for every workout! It is great to be able to track my calorie burn and heart rate while working out at the gym. It comes with a strap which you wear around your chest to easily track your heart rate. I’ve convinced so many friends to buy one!
Workout outfits– I randomly stumbled upon Old Navy’s workout clothes last summer, and they have become a staple in my wardrobe. What began as just capris turned into leggings, T-shirts, and jackets. The clothes are so comfortable and super cute!
What are your workout necessities?
I have been a big fan of Bloglovin’ for some time now. Its my favorite way to keep up to date on my favorite bloggers and see what they’re up to. When you log into their website, there is all the latest blog posts you want to read, and you can even read individual blogger’s posts too. Bloglovin’ makes life much easier!
I would love if you would follow me on Bloglovin! 🙂
You read that right– I graduated from college this past weekend! It still hasn’t hit me yet. I feel like in 3 months I will be packing up my things again to move back to school for another semester.
My graduation weekend went perfectly. The weather wasn’t best for our University Commencement Ceremony on Friday, so unfortunately were inside. However, I was able to sit with my roommates and my parents which was great. After the ceremony, I went to dinner at Azie on Main, a Japanese restaurant by my school. The torrential downpour was exhausting, so after dinner I went home and right to sleep.
My roommates and I.
Saturday morning I was up bright and early for the individual College Recognition ceremony, where my name was called and I received my diploma. After the ceremony my roommates and I had a lunch in our backyard with our families. It was such a great time. We went back to school for a Baccalaureate Mass outside which was just as great as our first mass during Orientation four years ago. After mass we went to Cilantro, a Mexican restaurant in Wayne, about 10 minutes from school. Another great dinner! To complete the day, I had one night out at the local bars with my best friends.
The best family.
I couldn’t have asked for a better graduation, and I’m so glad I was able to share it with the best family and friends. Now, I am back home, unpacking my things and applying for jobs. Hopefully I will hear back from somewhere soon!
